Is there a joining fee?
No
If I choose to pay by Direct Debit am I locked in for 12 months?
No, there are no lock in contracts. We require 2 weeks notice of cancellation. Our aim is to keep you exercising at Daly Difference because you want to not because you feel you can't leave!
Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes, membership can be put on hold for reasons of illness or injury or if you are going away for periods of over four weeks.
Are there any hidden costs?
No, there are no administration fees or cancellation fees. Your membership fee is your only payment unless you chose to use additional services.
Do I have to be a member?
Membership entitles you to discounts on all services and if you are regularly exercising it is often more affordable to become a member. However, all of the services at Daly Difference can be used on a casual basis.
Do I get a program when I join?
Yes, on joining you will be booked in with a Personal Trainer for a complimentary consultation and training session which will result in an individualized program to suit your needs and goals.
Will someone help me if I'm unsure of my program but I'm not doing personal training?
Yes, our aim is to ensure all of our members exercise safely and effectively and enjoy their experience at Daly Difference. If you need help with anything there is always a member of the Team available and happy to help.
How do I book for Personal Training or Group Fitness?
Booking is not required for Group Fitness classes. If you wish to start exercising with a Trainer you can call us on 9382 8177 and we can allocate you a Trainer according to your goals or you can look at the Trainer Profile Board at the gym and choose from there.
Do I need to be fit to have a Personal Trainer?
The aim of Personal Training at Daly Difference is to help you achieve your goals. You might need one or two sessions to get you started or you may choose to have more guidance on an ongoing basis.
Sessions are tailored to meet your needs and we are able to cater for all fitness levels. If you are unfit and unconfident in the gym your sessions will be suited to help you find your feet and gently increase your fitness.
I have an injury or stable health condition, can you cater for me?
Yes, at your initial consultation your Personal Trainer will ensure that the exercise options are appropriate for you. 3 of the Daly Difference Team have completed the Heart Foundation Heartmoves course, specifically for individuals with stable health conditions.
What should I wear/bring with me?
We encourage members to wear comfortable clothes that allow easy movement and closed in shoes, preferably runners. Please bring a towel and water bottle with you. There is a water cooler for refills.
